Crazy Core's H2 Workout invades New York City

Fashion vs Fitness : The H2 Workout

Woman of New York City, bring out your sexiest pair of heels and let’s get in shape.

I am proud to introduce: Crazy Cores Concepts H2 Workout. What is the H2 workout? This is a 45 minute workout done exclusively in High Heels. Yes, High Heels.
This is a workout geared towards the fashionable woman who love working out and at the same time, who love their heels. This is a great way to bring together the Fashion and Fitness world on one platform. As a Fitness Specialist of 10 plus years, I am happy to bring the two together. After doing a study, I notice that woman who walk in heels all day, tend to have toned legs and thighs. Mainly because of the position the heels put woman in and the sort of balancing they endure. So a lot of the great legs in the work are attributed to a nice pair of stilettos.

In the fashion world, fitness is an area that is neglected by most female and even some male models. Being beautiful is one thing, but being beautiful and in great shape is another. Models must be in great shape to secure work and be at the top of the game. As a former model myself, I know the demands of casting directors and production managers. Being in tip top shape is a must.

Here's a breakdown of what I have put together:

  • 45 to 60-Minute High Heeled / AB Workout Session
  •  20 to 30 Models, Designers, etc (as participants)
  •  30 Minutes of Press Photos
  • Best Model Walk and Best Abs Competition. Men and Woman

Fitness Model of the Week.... "Leila Jelloule "

Leila Jelloule

A true testament to hard work, perseverance, and determination. Leila has been in decent shape over the last couple years and has been pretty healthy. But after seeing 2 friends compete as Bikini & Figure Fitness Models, she decided to change her path from being in shape, to having an outstanding body and possibly competing as well.

After doing her research, she seeks out Personal Trainer and Fitness Specialist Shaun Spencer, and begins her re-education in Fitness and competition 11 weeks prior to the date of this article. She wanted to compete but was not sure. So in the beginning she looked it as the only thing that could go wrong would be that she got in shape. Soon she grew a love for it and started going hard every day, not skipping a beat.

Leila is originally from a small town called Lathrop located about an hour of Sacramento in Northern California. She grew up not knowing much about health and nutrition which caused her to be an overweight child and pre-teen. Leila had many insecurities growing up due to her weight and tried every crash diet known to man. She finally lost weight in high school, but still didn't know the value of proper nutrition and exercise. Leila then decided to learn more about nutrition and get fit the healthy way while in college. She developed healthy eating habits and worked out regularly. Upon working out more and having a better nutrition, she decided to compete in her first full marathon in 2006.

Now, she is a health and fitness coach in the best shape of her life, wanting to help others change their lives for the better. Also to teach young kids the value of proper nutrition and exercise, so they avoid the overweight childhood experiences she had. She has been working out consistently for the past 11 weeks and will be competing in her first Bikini Fitness America Competition on October 9th, 2011.  GOOOOOO Leila!!!!

Her favorite types of workouts are Pool Aerobic Workouts and Boxing.  A huge goal of Leila’s is to continue to push her body to the highest level of fitness. In the end, Fitness modeling is the goal.
